support ACTIVITY FOR NEEDY WOMEN ON CHRISTMAS DAY

“The women appreciated the Coordinator and CYNBI for the kind gesture ”

CYBNI

This Christmas, Charitable Youth for Nation Building (CYNB) supported selected women, based on vulnerability and poverty level, within Iwo, Osun State. The activity was coordinated by Mr Kabiru Adisa Kulukulu, the Coordinator of CYNB in the state alongside other members of CYNB in the state. Two bags of rice were evenly shared among 60 needy women on Tuesday morning to commemorate the anniversary of the birth of Jesus Christ.

Despite the small size of the gesture, the women, most of whom didn’t know where there Christmas day meals will come from, were all smiles and grateful to benefit from the activity. This is a reflection of the stark reality of our society where there is a growing number of needy women (and men and children) with no social plan by relevant authorities to cater for their needs.

In turns, the women appreciated the Coordinator and CYNBI for the kind gesture and demanded that more of such activities be carried out. They prayed for the success of CNYB and charged other organisations to follow suit.

More women showed up after the distribution but were unable to be attended to because there was no food items left for distribution.
